By accessing or using Marii ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Marii. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Marii is an AI-powered budgeting application that helps users manage their personal finances. The Service provides tools for tracking expenses, creating budgets, and receiving AI-generated financial insights and recommendations.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

3. User Obligations

3.1 Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and maintain the accuracy of such information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without our express written permission

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the accuracy of any financial information you provide to the Service. Marii is not a financial advisor, and any insights or recommendations provided by the Service should not be considered professional financial advice.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1 Service Content

The Service and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Marii, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

4.2 User Content

You retain all rights to any content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Marii a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate budgeting insights and recommendations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated insights are provided for informational purposes only
• You should verify all AI-generated recommendations before acting on them
• Marii is not liable for any decisions you make based on AI-generated content
• AI-generated content does not constitute professional financial advice

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Marii and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

In no event shall Marii's aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid to Marii in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

Marii does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Marii and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including without limitation ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Marii operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in such jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
